Discover, Connect, and Thrive at Windsor

At Windsor International School, we create a gentle, caring space where our youngest learners—ages 1 to 3—can discover the world, connect with others, and thrive at their own pace.

Just one minute from a large, beautiful park, our children spend plenty of time outdoors every day. Nature is part of our classroom, and outdoor play is essential to how we learn and grow.

We support each child’s development through three foundational areas:

Social and Emotional Growth

We help children:

  • Feel safe, loved, and secure in their environment.
  • Build trusting relationships with teachers and friends.
  • Express their emotions and begin to understand others.
  • Gain confidence and independence in a caring, structured space.

Curious Thinking and Language

  • Explore and learn through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences.
  • Develop early problem-solving skills by observing, trying, and discovering.
  • Build language naturally through songs, stories, and daily conversation.
  • Express themselves with words, sounds, gestures, and creativity.

Outdoor Play and Physical Growth

  • Visit the park daily for nature walks, active games, and exploration.
  • Run, climb, and jump to build strong, healthy bodies.
  • Use their five senses to engage with the world around them—feeling the breeze, hearing birds, and splashing in puddles.
  • Develop fine motor skills through playful, hands-on activities both indoors and out.
